You obviously like going toe to toe, but that's just one way to play. But that's if you are willing to take the risk. Who else can say that?|||More efficient? Yes. I mean, hell, they both have a minigun (sentry, hydra).
They really feel like a 'couple' just as the Barb and Monk do. In that respect, and especially after watching the DH videos again, I think the DH and Wiz have a lot of parallels in combat style (at least at this point). Blizzard PR pushes fast combat with all of the characters, and while I respect and actually enjoy careful prep work, I just think it will ultimately be more efficient to rush into combat - still laying traps mind you, just -during- regular gameplay, not before it. until we know the rest of the skills and the DH resource system, gameplay differences are almost completely unknown.|||Honestly, Blizzard can push the "Discipline and Preparation" side of the DH all that they want, but in the end, I can't honestly believe that "tower defense" type combat or "prepping an area" will be extremely common. Though the Wizard can also accomplish that one with Hydras, Images, Time Bubbles, and perhaps Twister skill runes. Sarcasm aside, 'preparation' style makes sense in terms of setting up kill zones with traps. I can see a 'Tower Defense' theme featuring prominently in the Demon Hunter's arsenal.|||And the Wizard is devoid of close range spells that could potentially rely on Teleport for effective, front line positioning. However I see the DH valting to the front line for strategic play as far as traps go.|||They mentioned a 'preparation' style of gameplay from the Demon Hunter. What differences do you notice or forsee?|||Unknown until the Demon Hunter's skills and resource system are revealed.|||They both bring the power of their skills from a distance and are both escape artists from the front line type of characters, thus the play style will be a similar one.
